Our palo santo sticks are ethically sourced from Peru and certified by SERFOR (National Forest Service and Wildlife). Only naturally-fallen trunks and branches from the dry forests of Peru are collected, where the holy wood is abundant in nature - these are collected after several years of tree death because the oils and resins within the wood mature and become more potent during the decomposition process, which enhances the wood's aromatic properties, making it more fragrant and valuable. The production strictly adheres to governmental guidelines regulating the collection, processing, and global distribution of Palo Santo.
