Founded in 2020 in Hong Kong, The Magickal Herbs continues to provide high quality of organically grown and sustainably wild harvested herbs mostly sourced from the USA/UK/Europe, to ensure its chemical and pesticides free, growing in a way that is both responsible and sustainable to our environment.

Why choosing organically grown and sustainably wild harvested herbs? Most of the herbs in the market are grown conventionally, using harmful pesticides and chemicals which negatively impact our environment and health. While we use herbs to support our overall health, consuming harmful chemicals is definitely not our goal. Some herbs such as roses and citrus peels, are often heavily sprayed with pesticides to prevent or control pests, which we would want to avoid at all costs.

Why responsible and sustainable wild harvesting matters? Some species are currently endangered due to over wild-harvesting and high demand from the markets, including echinacea and slippery elm bark - in such cases, wild harvesting is not recommended but only choosing organically grown ones is both responsible and sustainable to our overall health of the planet, to ensure a healthy and diverse plant populations is maintained. Other non-endangered species, on the other hand, should only be wild harvested in a limited amount and only from areas where the plant is abundant. Maintaining healthy and diverse plant populations is crucial to ensuring the overall health of the planet, which in turn is the most sustainable way of ensuring human health.​

All the herbal extracts, elixirs, honey and salves are handcrafted with organic herbs and other organic ingredients. The bottles are fully sanitised before use by washing and boiling for at least 10 mins. To ensure the products are of high quality, only a very small batch is produced each time, stocks are limited, and the herbal honey is mostly seasonal flavours and for preorder only.
